USB Relay - how to?

I purchased a USB relay which I thought was compatible with HA. I downloaded the " HID USB Relay for Home Assistant" from HACS but when I go to install the integration is says "no device". It appears that the USB is recongized in the System Hardware, I know the ports work because the Zigbee dongle functions fine.

Do only certain USB relays work with HA? This is what I purchased based on a post I read that I can no longer find. Thanks

"Onboard HID control chip, plug and play without driving" in the description from the seller for this "HID Drive free" device.
Rest assured you will need drivers for your USB Device to work. They may be standard and generic in Windoze, but may be missing from the basic HomeAssistant OS.
You may wish to closely examine the numbers on the square chip on the board to identify the data sheet and whether it is emulating a generic style serial device or something else.
Welcome to the world of plug and pray.

Of course, you may be having other related issues, the device being automagically recognised by Linux, but your app not able to drive it.

In your HomeAssistant settings, system, hardware, system info screen, does your new device appear there?

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps in the HACS addon documentation?

Are you running the correct flavor/platform of HomeAssistant?

Are there any entries in the system log when you plug it into the USB Port?
