Usb zigbee dongle stopped being recognized in haos, virtual box

Hi,

after one of the updates in October my zigbee dongle stopped being recognized by haos. On the host Debian machine lsusb yields the following:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID 10c4:ea60 Silicon Labs CP210x UART Bridge

HaOS machine is installed within virtual machine (virtualbox). The relevant part of vboxmanage showvminfo:

Available remote USB devices: <none>
Currently attached USB devices:

UUID: f9aa30ef-6eeb-4a49-8aa0-2a903d6405c3

Revision: 1.0 (0100)

Manufacturer: SMLIGHT
Product: SMLIGHT SLZB-07p7

Yet, when I run lsusb on the haos machine within terminal I get only xHCI, OHCI,EHCI Host Controllers.
This configuration worked untill recently. I don’t know how to process it further. The logs from Zigbee2MQTT shows that it fails to find /dev/ttyUSB0, which indeed does not exist (I think it is a leftover path from the times when it worked). Everything (Haos, Homeassistant, Zigbee2MQTT) is updated to the latest version.
Where to look for clues?

Nevermind, it just needed restart from inside the system and not from virtalbox.

Hello @t.g.wilk

The TTY ports can sometimes change internally, so it is suggested to use the /serial/by-id/ URL that always talks to your dongle by serial so it is always right.
You can find out that that is by using:

and looking for it under all hardware, something like this:
