Use 433 MHz chime as alarm

Because I use a Ring doorbeel nowadays , I have a 433MHz doorbell leftover.

Now I would like to use the chime as a kind of alarm. Is it possible to send a signal let it make some noise ?

I thought I had seen something like that but cannot find the command anymore .

You need something that can send rf codes, e.g a sonoff rf bridge, a rflink or a rfxcom

I have a rflink, use it to control light and get info from some sensors.
I am looking for the code or command to make the chime ring.

Just press the original doorbell button and catch the code

Thank you, we are halfway now I think  And what command do I use to send the code with ?

Once you have the code, add it to HA like a switch, maybe something like:

switch:
  - platform: rflink
    devices:
      <the_cached_code_here>:
        name: Doorbell

Maybe you need also play with the signal_repetitions value:

switch:
  - platform: rflink
    devices:
      <the_cached_code_here>:
        name: Doorbell
        signal_repetitions: 7

Once you have it working in HA, you can use it in automations.

Thank you both, I am going to find something to catch the code.

If you have a rflink, the process to catch the code can be found here :

Did not test it yet, since I’m waiting for all parts to arrive.
