I figured out how to toggle devices using the Echo Buttons. I posted my write-up here:

Nice workaround! Do you have any ideas on weather it will be possible to assign colors to the buttons. What options does Alexa offer in that regard?
No way that I know of to change colors. I doubt it’s something that they will implement.
£10 a button is a long way from the cheapest but well done for getting it working.
Dash buttons being effectively free, or Amazon even pay you to buy them on occasion, are easily the cheapest buttons you can get 
It’s more like $7.50. I can’t find anything much cheaper. And the dash buttons were always too unreliable for me.
