Use Switchbot Hub 2's TV IR Controls in Home Assistant

I just upgraded my first-gen Switchbot Hub Mini to the Hub 2 with Matter. The integration into HA and HomeKit was a snap, and it gives me great control over my bots, Blind Tilt, and other Switchbot devices using Matter (despite an occasional lag). I also have my TV remote controls in the Switchbot app, and I can add the TV as a secondary device in Matter, which makes it show up in HA. However, it only comes across as a single power on/off switch, which does indeed allow me to turn the TV on or off via HA. However, I’d like to use it to access other controls (at least the mute button). Is there a way to get more than a power switch for IR devices via the Hub 2?

FYI: I know I can do this easily with a Broadlink RM4. I actually have two Broadlink hubs incorporated into HA, and they work great. But I also have a specific need for the Switchbot Hub 2’s mute command if possible. Any ideas?

Hi, did you ever get this working?
I have just bought a switchbot hub mini thinking it would integrate nicely with HA and do it locally, turns out it has to be Via Thier cloud :frowning: and not only that even though in the switchbot app it’s appearing as a remote and I can control all the buttons etc in Home assistant it’s appearing as a switch, like you.
Wish I bought the broadlink now :frowning:

So far I’m pretty impressed with Switchbot HA integration. Although I love the Switchbot products and how they behave in the native app, the lack of control for K10 pro vacuum and IR is disappointing. I’m hoping they are still working on it
