sounds like a similar issue to me, but not identical.
I don’t even see any location at all on the map, so even the last know location isn’t there.
HA does definitely know the current locations of all the users, but for some reason is no longer showing them on the map.
So I have been following this, and just assumed it had been something in 2025.12 or bug to be fixed. All my tracker automations worked fine, and pinging the entity showed recent updates. For me, I go to the map tab, top right search entity and search the user name associated with the tracker. For some reason, these are no longer set to “visible” as previously. Toggling this on has fixed my issue and map works as it did last month.
i don’t think this is the same issue as me, but could be linked to a change made in an update.
i’ve always have the person entity set to not visible, but previously this didn’t affect it map display.
making it visible does make it appear on the map, but also makes it appear on the overview dashboard, which is not required.
Not required for me either, but I assume there has been a change to how the older legacy map sideboard has been handled. I will confess, I don’t use overview and this has resolved the direct issue I was having. Best of luck!
yeah i still have to create dashboards for both desktop and mobile, so have just been using the managed overview and hiding anything that i didn’t need - which has worked up until now.
this solves the problem for now.
