When I first read the blog post for 2025.4, I was inspired to get my VPE to prompt me to close an open garage door as was detailed in the post. It took me a while, but I finally got it to work. My solution includes the use of alerts, notifications, scripts, automations and a custom component called NotiScript that allows you to call a script as a notification.
