Using Matter with the ZBT-2 in a docker container

I’ve got an older laptop running Home Assistant on Docker, along some other containers.
I recently bought some IKEA smart appliances and a ZBT-2, with hope to control all of those through HA.

However, I’m having trouble setting Matter and Thread up. I’m pretty new to Home Assistant and using USB on Docker, so i’ve been using AI for help.

I have attatched my ZBT-2 to HA, as well as set up Open Thread Border Router and Matter-Server containers, but when i go to add a new device with Matter, I get “This device requires a Thread border router.”

Thread on Home Assistant finds a network, and the ZBT-2 attatched to it.

I would really appreciate any help on this, because I’ve been troubleshooting for about two days.

This usually means that the mobile device you are using to do the commissioning is not seeing the mDNS advertisements that announce the presence of a device that is ready to be matter commissioned. This usually happens when the mobile device does not have the correct Thread credentials to give to the device being commissioned, and thus the device never actually got attached to the Thread network
