You need just to adjust two settings in the wall switch:
- Detached mode (so that the a button press doesn’t control the internally connected relay).
- Power state for the relay set to always on.

Not any but many don’t offer that basic settings or might not expose this settings locally. 
In case you put your faith in matter you might find yourself forced to install some vendor app with trackers, register yourself with some email to finally be able to change to such a configuration:

Or, depending on your device, it may just not be supported in software at all (random ZigBee device?)… 
Needless to say: If you have full control and ownership over your device you obviously can make use of such a setup (random esphome device):
