I am new to home assistant and have searched the forums for the answer to my problem, but cannot find an answer. So here’s hoping for someone who can help me.
I have a utility room which has a motion sensor, Smart light, a smart light switch and an extractor fan (connected to the smart light switch) which comes on with the smart light switch.
At the moment, I have set up an automation so that when motion is detected, the light switch turns on (Which turns on the extractor fan) which also turns on smart light (as long as Last state was on).
After 2 mins, the light will go off. - This works great (Although I would like the 2 mins to be 60 seconds, but cannot seem to modify this time limit)
But I also have a temp sensor in there which will also turn on the light switch (Which turns on the extractor fan and light) — But this is were I have multiple problems.
- I want it so that when the temp goes below 25C, the light switch is turned off and only relies on motion sensor being tripped (As described above)
- (currently) if anyone triggers the motion sensor during Above 25C state, after 2 mins, the light switch is turned off and despite the temp continuing to rise, the automation to turn on the switch again never activates.
- During (Above 25C) state, i want to turn off the smart light until motion is triggered in which it will activate the smart light (Rather than light switch) for 60 seconds and then turns off the light (Not the light switch - This will leave on the extractor fan)
I do hope someone can help me figure this out… I am really struggling.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.
