Valve opening degree on the Homematic IP with IP-VDMOT actuator

Hello everyone,

i manage my Homematic IP devices with Home Assistant via the RFUSB stick with OpenCCU integration. I’m using the following devices:

  • RFUSB stick / OpenCCU version 3
  • FALMOC-C8 (underfloor heating controller)
  • VDMOT (actuator)
  • WTH-B-2 (thermostat)

I see a sensor that displays the valve opening percentage. However, it remains stuck at 0.0%, regardless of whether I adjust the temperature up or down.

Do I need to calibrate the actuator? Do you have any tips on how I can get the valve opening percentage to display correctly?
