Vanderbilt SPC integration - Triggered alarm status not received or shown

My alarm system had its yearly maintenance, and as part of the maintenance they trigger of course to alarm to see if all sirene work and notifications are sent by the control panel.

I have an automation in home assistant that is supposed to activate when the alarm is in triggered status, however i noticed it did not trigger.

Upon further investigation it seems that the alarm status doesn’t go to ‘triggered’ in the entity status; only statuses ‘disarmed’, ‘armed night’, ‘armed away’, ‘armed home’ are working ‘Triggered’ is not.

below a screenshot of the alarm status history as recorded in home assistant:

also during a second test where i waited for almost a minute before disarming the alarm did not lead to the gateway communicating a ‘triggered’ status:

As far as i can see on SPC alarm panel side , the event Alarm Activation shoudl be communicated over EDP.
The Lundix SPC webgateway is also working as all other statuses are displayed and i can arm and disarm the alarm via home assistant and have automations working that use door, window and motion detector sensors from the alarm system.

Anyone knows why the alarm entity does not show triggered and how i can fix it?

Was the alarm tested by simulating an intrusion, or by going in test mode?
Test mode might not set the triggered state.

Hi, for the outside and inside siren test it was triggered by simulating an intrusion; for this test the alarm panel was NOT in engineer mode (neither soft nor hard). It was armed normally and then purposely triggered by its sensors. So it should have definitely sent an alarm status. I did get notified by the SPC Connect app on my phone.
