I recently bought another Venta AH550 humidifier after I bought one last winter and integrated this with the HACS Venta integration and was very happy with it all.
Now to my surprise the new Venta doesn’t support their “Original Connect” integration anymore as they switched to Tuya 
. Now I’m not a big fan of Tuya and only using localtuya for a pressense sensor so had the challance to configure the AH550 via localtuya.
Besides getiing the localkey the other challange was getting the configuration right. There are several youtube video’s and tutorials on how to get the localkey so I will not go into this here.
On the configuration via Tuya there isn’t a lot so hence my attempt to write this post to help others and get some more ideas.

However the information available via Tuya is only a subset from what you get under the Original Connect protocol and is a bit disapointing.
So my questions to other Venta users:
- anybody found additional DP’s to get more information?
- anybody figured out how to flash the Tuya version back to the original connect firmware?
