Vera controller - do people still use one?

Hey

So it’s just like the title says; are there users here who stop integrate a Vera controller with Home Assistant?

I’m asking this as I’m in the process of again setting up Home Assistant, this time on an unRAID server, and a lot has changed since I’ve done this, and I can’t join my Vera controller with Home Assistant. After a bit of a search, it appears that I’m not alone, and where some have managed to get things to work, others haven’t.

If someone has recently setup their Vera controller with Home Assistant, or they simply know how it’s to be done, can I please get a little help?

Thanks heaps?

I have not recently integrated Vera with HA but did it approx. 1 year ago via the official Vera integration. It still works fine but I am slowly transferring my stuff to HA bit by bit in order to reduce controllers. Mainly I only have z-wave and 433 integrations in Vera left. Unfortunately the Vera integration in HA seems not maintained anymore and the energy reporting from my z-wave plugs were deprecated a few releases of HA ago.
What method do you use to join Vera with HA?

Edit1: It seems that there are only 358 of us still using this integration in HA. Perhaps I should speed up my switch

Edit2: If I remember it was quite straight forward to install. Just put in your (static) adress to your Vera controller and the entities were populated in HA (after re-start).
