Hi,
I’m about to start a Home Assistant installation this weekend. I currently have a (very small) Vera setup - two CT-101 thermostats and a Linear GD00Z4 garage door opener/sensor. Based on several days of research, I think the thermostats will be fine, but I’ve not been able to find a lot of information about whether or not there’s support for the garage door opener through VERA.
Anyone know for sure?

I am using one with vera. HA sees it as a switch. It works great and reports proper state based on the sensor.
I would rather use Open Zwave but it is not supported quite yet.
Great - thanks for the feedback … My eventual plan will be to get off the Vera, probably when OZW is able to support all my devices. Been looking a lot at the MySensors stuff that I think will play a big role in how I expand the system. For now, as long as the few devices I have continue to work as expected, I’m ready to start moving forward…
