Verisure - does this work with 2025 hardware in UK?

I am considering a Verisure system again, having tried it before in 2021 and been unimpressed by the 3G only system that wouldn’t try and use my WiFi when it could. I returned it.

Looking again, the hardware has changed, they now use 4G, will poll for the best network provider from all the main companies, and it apparently can tap into Wifi as well.

A lot of my automations rely on my (currently) Simplisafe integration which (whilst being pretty fussy to connect) works well. I get pretty responsive status changes for the alarm itself, which is really the main thing I’m after.

Can anyone in the UK confirm for me whether Verisure will reliably connect to HA in 2025? I have seen in the docs that some European countries struggle to connect (i think due to user/pass/2FA factors that are different from one country to another).

I don’t wish to go through the rigmarole of installing it and then having to survive their interrogation if I cancel it again within the 14 day cool off.

thanks,
Richard

I have the latest Verisure system and can confirm it connects via WiFi, ethernet, and 4G (chooses the best available network). So far it’s been good, as I was previously on their older 3G only system. The new one is much more responsive, the app works better and I seem to have less issues.

I have been unsuccessful in getting the HA integration connected. It does appear automatically under Devices and Integrations but it does not let me authenticate. It asks for email and password, but the My Verisure login is with phone number and password, so not sure what’s going on there.

I was previously using the securitas HACS addon which worked well and I had a few automations relying on my alarm status, but this stopped working a few months ago and I’ve seen no further updates.

If I make any progress I’ll reply here. All the best.

I have recently had a Verisure alarm installed at home and have had no luck getting any of the suggested integrations working (Sucuritas or Verisure HA integration). like you @l19bal i’ve had issues with the login information required by Verisure that doesn’t match the Verisure integration.

Is there anyone using the newer Verisure alarms that have had success with home assistant?

I have Verisure UK connected to Home Assistant - using the Securitas Direct integration.

I can’t remember now how I set it up, but am pretty sure you select a country code in there somewhere, and then go through the usual 2FA process to connect.

System is pretty limited - it reports set status, and you can remotely arm and disarm the alarm

The latest changes are fantastic, everything works like a dream.
