I think to install a new Verisure alarm with shock sensor on the door and motion sensor with integrated camera. I would like to know if the following function are supported:
I have Verisure alarm integrated in HA.
It shows status: Arm Home, Arm Away or Disarmed.
My camera is the old type, I cannot get image - even in the Verisure app. It is not even shown as a device in Home Assistant. The new type camera may show image and be available to HA - someone with this camera can verify this.
The Contact sensors show status Open or Closed.
The smoke detectors show temperature and humidity - but updates only every 5 hours.
I plan to use alarm status Armed Away to decrease the speed of my ventilation system - when I get the adapter I need to control it from HA.
I find the Verisure integration in HA very useful.
I think you will find most answers here: Verisure - Home Assistant (home-assistant.io)
I followed the recommendation and set up a separate user in Verisure for use from Home Assistant. I have limited this user to read only for security reasons. If you grant that user the rights to control the alarm you can do so from the Home Assistant interface. I have not tested if it is possible to automate alarm on/off - when I testet manually I hade to enter the code for Verisure every time i armed or disarmed the alarm.
I just integrated Verisure into Home Assistant hoping to monitor battery charge levels. However, the sensors report only whether they are open/closed. Is there a way to make them report battery charge level? Also, the Yale door lock that connects with Verisure is not visible in Home Assistant. Have you found a more complete integration? (I believe HA’s integration of Ring alarms is similarly limited, but more functionality is available via MQTT.)
