I was happily using Home Assistant to control my GREE ACs but as soon as I upgraded (too bad I didnt take a backup) all I see is “This entity is no longer being provided by the gree integration. If the entity is no longer in use, delete it in settings.”
Is there a way to revert back to the previous version or fix what’s been broken?
Are you sure? Most updates take a snapshot, and default weekly system backups notwithstanding?
You just have to restore as per the backup documentation.
What entity is reporting problems? [Please use the forum </> formatting option for readability if posting error logs or yaml code]
Thanks for the reply. First time user and I really love what I see on Home Assistant so far. I rediscovered the ACs after the update and they’re back into operation. To your point about a snapshot being taken I dont see anything under System->Backups. I just enabled automatic backups.
