Very weird problem since z2m 2.8.0

Ok, i’ve updated z2m 3 days ago to the latest. And since that time i have a very weird problem.
I have an old Phillips hue dimmer switch that i use to turn on the lights in my bathroom. In the ceiling of my bathroom are 2 sets of old INNR puck downlights. Since I want the 2 sets do the same i have a z2m group made to control them.

This all worked fine until the update of z2m. Now when i use the dimmer, the lights don’t go on physically. And I say physically, because according to HA, MQTT and Z2M admin, the lights do actually go on. But physically the lights stay off.

Now comes the even weirder part, when I turn off the lights and turn them on through the HA app or anything other then the dimmer, the light actually physically go on.
So i guess it is a Z2M issue?

Does anybody have or had a similar experience?

I’ve gotten a little wiser. Actually the same thing happens in the UI as with the dimmer switch.

When i turn on the light by setting a brightness so light.on with a set brightness. The lights don’t turn on. Only when i call light.on without brightness or light.toggle it turns on.

Is this normal? How can i disable this behavior?

I’ve seen this reported in these forums before, but I don’t have a link handy.
It’s a bug in Z2M, so not normal behaviour. It might be related to transition being sent in the automation as per the second link, but that should have been fixed in 2.6.2
