Vesync unavailable

Having issues with the vesync and Home assistant, it loads up fine but the entities are unavailable, I tried removing/reloading but nothing on both plugs.

Has anyone had this issue?

Hi, have you checked VeSync - Home Assistant
and your logs?

Open your Home Assistant instance and show your Home Assistant logs.

Yeap, tried all that ! there is nothing on my logs showing anything about Vesync, very odd as both entities are showing unavailable.

For some reason the entities are not working ! how can I get into the yaml code for Vesync ?

TBC: I don’t use that integration, just trying to help.

Have you seen (respected) this?

  • Are your devices in the Supported devices list?
  • After removing, before reinstalling: did you reboot HA?
  • Did you check in the integration if the entities are disabled?
  • Do you have the Power & Energy sensors?

Many thanks, yeap, thats the issue, not in the supported devices !! oh well back to the drawing board !

I use this custom VeSync integration:
haext/custom_vesync: Custom VeSync component for Home Assistant

Until a few weeks ago, mostly because it was not supporting my humidifiers.
But I keep using if for now because it seems to provide more entities than the official one.
So, maybe there’s support for your device(s) in this one, too.

I have used the VeSync integration for years. The last working version that shows all of my entities was in release 2025.2.5 I have tried to upgrade as the releases come out but every time many of my entities are unavailable as you have stated. If you restore with one of your backups that pre-dates the broken releases your entities will likely start working again.
