Vibration sensor showing as permanently on

Hi all,

I have the tuya integration running and many devices configured on smart life. Everything works great, for weeks already. Now I’ve attached a vibration sensor today and it’s working fine in smart life app and showing all vibrations, but in HA, it’s showing as vibrating for 6 hours straight.

I’ll attach two Screenshots, one from HA and one from smart life app, showing the different results.

Any idea where this might come from?

Ps: sorry the Screenshots are in German. “erkannt” means “recognised”. “Zurückgesetzt” means “reset”.

Hi,

you can set vibration timeout in the section Ziegbee2MQTT > vibration device > Setting (special).
The status will be set as Clear after timeout.

Hi, did you find a solution for that ? I have the same issue with the TUYA integration. I don’t get the same results as in the Smart Life app. Thx

Hello there,

I think you asked something similar in another thread of mine :blush:

I abandoned Tuya and use z2m and ZHA instead. My tuya vibration sensor also started making no sense, so I replaced with a aqara one that is more reliable.
