For all the Victron MQTT gang. I created a custom integration which supposed to do exactly what is described here but with zero manual configuration. I will be glad if you want to test it and supply feedback. You can find it here: Home Assistant Victron integration based on MQTT. With this approach, there is no need to install Mosquitto or to connect it to the CerboGX, as the integration has its own MQTT client. It will auto discover the Cerbo GX and just start fetching the MQTT messages.

I just updated to the latest 2025.7.2 version and it seems to have broken/renamed all my sensors. Luckily I didn’t have much history.
