Hi y’all,
I’ve added the Vizio integration to HA but for some reason the only thiing I can do is control it via the popup when I click on the device. I have absolutely zero way of ading any controls to any dashboard or other human interface that I can find. I’ve read dozens of posts and threads on this here and elsewhere and there is NOTHING that I can do to make this thing work.
Has anyone ever gotten Vizio integration to work without having to use the media player card? I have a custom remote that I created for my spouse so she can use it easily and I have most of the functions working via Fire TV Cube connected to it but I can’t turn the TV off, mute or change volume or input on the TV itself.
WTF did I screw up? Lol. Has anyone who’s been successful at this and can point me in the right direction?
I’ve gotten tha auth token for remote commands but information about how to actually use this and what the friggin commands are appear to be as scarce as the holy grail.
Help please.
