VLC Media Player: Jumping Volume Issue

Hey there,

I have installed the VLC integration and telnet add on on my HA pi to play media on the connected speakers.
Unfortunately I am experiencing a very strange issue: The volume jumps up and down all the time.
When I play an mp3 or wav file, the volume iterates between 100% and 0% ever 0.5 seconds or so.
This makes the player completely unusable.

Any ideas?

I can’t find any solution to this too.
It seems like nobody can for the last few years!

I’m using a time script to set the volume for the evening and fay day times, and it seems to work just fine for the REMOTE vlc via telnet, but it jumps on the local instance at the same hardware:

PRi5 + USB Soundcard in both setups.
