I have home assistant flashed and running on a raspberry pi 4 using the RaspberryPi Imager. It connects to my bluetooth sensors just fine, controls my AC well and manages my solar backup just fine. I am installed the VLC app to play some audio I uploaded when some automations are triggered.
When I start a song though the Telnet speaker, its laggy for the first 4-15 seconds as if it was buffering. When it’s done having its short pauses, the audio seems just fine and plays normally for the rest of the song. I found re-winding the song actually cuts out the buffering and the song plays with no issues at all.
What could it be that I am doing wrong? The speaker is fine, the file is fine.
