I have my HassOS install running on KVM under Ubuntu. While this works OK, I’m noticing instability with my zigbee network since I moved it from hardware to VM. It is also a nuisance with the complicated bridge setup.
The system runs a HassOS VM only. I run it in KVM because the hardware is overkill for HassOS and I might want to use the spare CPU cycles and memory bits for something else. Might.
I’m thinking I’m probably not alone in this scenario. Why not reverse the roles? I’m thinking why not run KVM as an addon to HassOS? How hard can it be?
