I am curious if anyone has or if its possible to have voice assistants on a different subnet more specifically using a tailscale network. I am currently using a Tailscale network to relay my MeatPi Wiccan back to my home assistant via MQTT and it is working very well using a Raspberry Pi as a router/hotspot, off the same device I am having all sorts of issues. Been at it 24hours straight as it is driving me insane. Anyone else have experience with this that I might be missing or is it not possible?
The issue was able to be overcome with statically assigning the ip to it and then adding it manually, ultimately was easier than the configuring of the vpn etc.
