Voice Muting Muting Maybe Gets Complicated

I’ve come to realize that I don’t want to mute Voice PE when media is playing. But rather I want to disable the wake word only. Anyone taking this approach with success?

I’m also realizing that I will try having Jarvis, and all other audio messages from HA, pause all playing media. Anyone successful with that approach?

Increasing I’m designing AI triggers that run as background tasks. As Jarvis gets triggers such as weather, electrical prices, news etc it may or may not have something to say. My goals with the sort of unschedule messages is to have Jarvis decide if its a good time to deliver low priority messages.

Everything you’re describing is a side effect of poor wake word detection (ok except pause when speaking and I thought it actually did that

You won’t have a lot of success toggling the wake word and you’ll also get frustrated when someone plays music but you wanted to ask the assistant a question - you disabled it.

Id instead work on improving the wake word
