Voice PE Completely Dead

I have a Voice PE that I bought about 13 months ago to experiment with. I haven’t had as much time to play with it as I would have liked for the last year, but it’s been sitting on my desk powered on for all of that time. I was Asking it something and noticed that it began stuttering.

So I power cycled it and it still stuttered. So I figured do a factory reset. It hadn’t finished when I had to leave for work. Came home and the LED ring was still spinning with a pinkish glow. I unplugged it and it won’t power on anymore, So I think it’s completely died.

Anyone had one completely die?

Thanks Nathan. But I do think it’s dead. But not as dead as I thought. Only mostly dead. I can connect to it through ESPHome.

I can update it. ESPHome says the “Update All” process is successful.

HA does see that it exists. But I get no lights on the device at all. Even when I press the button on the device. It doesn’t light up when I restart it, or restart HA.

If I try the factory reset again, I never get the red light at all. Hate to think this thing died after only 13 months.
