Voice PE play music with voice commands not working

Hello,
I am using an Voice PE and it is working well with commands for my devices.
Now I want to use it to play music from Spotify.
So I installed Music assistant, connected my Spotify premium account. Added the voice pe plug-in and added the voice pe as media player.
Download the blueprint for local assistant and set it up.
I can start the voice pe to play music from Spotify when I am doing it from music assistant. So for me, it sems to work.
But when I try to play music via voice command the voice pe always tells me that there is no media player paused or it is not active.
By the way I am using an LLM (open ai) with the assist.
Does anyone have an idea why it is not working properly?

I’m having exactly the same issue. I finally created some automation with ‘sentences’ to play many of the tune in radio stations.

I even had to create automations for ‘volumn up’, ‘volume down’, and ‘stop’. I thought those would be understood out of the box.

@GreenXL I set mine up the same as you (not Spotify just local music and radio stations via RadioBrowser). Using ha cloud rather than OpenAI.

Before blueprint: pause, skip|next track worked as voice commands. Now I can’t skip tracks and I’ve never managed to get “Play the album ‘Alligator’ on ‘Stereo’” to work.

Are there alternative music control blueprints to try for Spotify or local files?

I often struggle via voice pe unless I specify the (only) player each time.
