Voice PE - wake sound plays twice & adds "play" to device name

I have 2 Voice PE & they both exhibit 2 quirks that I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same or better yet, how to resolve.

  1. The wake sound will sometimes play twice after I say the wake word.
  2. When it can’t perform a command (i.e. turn device_name on), it says sorry, I’m not aware of any device called device_name_play. It adds the word ‘play’ to the device_name when it provides the error message. This device_name is in HA, is exposed to voice assistants and the same command usually works the next time I say it.

Both of these quirks don’t happen often but often enough to be annoying. I’m wondering, is anyone else is experiencing the same and/or know how to resolve the issues?

As for #1, no I haven’t seen this before
For #2, check the Assist’s Assistance/pipeline debug to see what STT came up with. My guess is that the STT is adding “play” to the device name.
