What I hope to accomplish. Install at least one of the 2 VPEs I bought and be able to run at least one automation by voice on my HA Green. After that I think I should be able to figure out more.
I have read previous threads and see lots of things about security settings etc. I am not able to tell if that issue has been resolved or not or whether it applies to my setup.
What I have accomplished so far. First setup of each VPE ended after step six which updated and then errored. One with “voice satellite setup entity not found” one with “Error config flow could not be loaded…”
After first setup errored during the installation, the device showed up in HA. Wouldn’t run automations, recognized wake word, and at one point responded with the time. Resetup, per support, then it woudn’t respond to time question, debug showed it recognizing written commands, but no voice response. Voice commands ended with two blue flashing lights(no documentation on what that means). Had to say wake word again to get it to stop. Support suggested trying 2nd brand new VPE and resulted in voice satellite error with nothing working after. Reset VPE deleted from HA and now it won’t even connect to the network.
I have only a few integrations. I see the VPE as discovered in HA on phone, even when it is unplugged. How do I get it removed from HA memory so hopefully I can get past network connection again? Or should I just wipe the HA green and start from scratch. It will cost me more to return these then they are worth so any help is appreciated.
