Hello, I’m new to this community as well as to HA. I have successfully installed the Volkswagen Connect integration, however it is limited to very uinfrequent polling. I would like to somehow make it work together with EVCC to manage solar excess charging for my Golf GTE.
When using the Volkswagen API interface for both HA and for EVCC, the Volkswagen API goes on lock, pbly it’s too much load / too frequent polling happening. Some users hint at NOT using another API access from EVCC, but instead tethering the sensors and switches from the primary Volkswagen/HA integration over into EVCC by defining a non-API based vehicle. I have tried so and found some sensors, however eg how to mimick the charging toggle switch in EVCC I have not been able to solve. Plus, some sensors like A/C on/off I cannot find in the drop-down selections of sensors which are offered in the GUI…
Any experienced HA/EVCC users here?
