Hey guys. I’ve had a Voice PE device for a couple years now. I just started having issues where the device seems to be rebooting at random times (red circle then reboot sequence). Yesterday I tried using it to play streaming radio via Music Assistant as I normally do and it would play for a few seconds then restart.
I do not know where to start to troubleshoot this. Can someone tell me what logs or otherwise to look at for details?
I am only having this problem when using a voice automation to start the playback. I was able to use Music Assistant directly and no issues. Very odd.
I’ve turned on logging for the ESPHome integration to try and get some insight on why this might be happening. Does not make sense in the least and not seeing anything in the normal logs.
I’ve tried logs in the the integration as well as looking at logs while directly connected to the device but not really understanding what I am seeing.

After you’ll see the device rebooting
I can issue other voice commands to turn on lights, what time is it, etc without issue but the media playing is suddenly not working well at all
Also note that I downgraded my version in the hopes it was somehow update related but neither the current nor older version differed in having this problem.
Any idea on what might be going on? Thanks!
Never mind. This appears to be a wifi issue with 5ghz vs 2.4ghz. I have it mostly sorted.
