Yup unfortunately that integration only works in the EU. VW uses a different system in NA.

In my case I’m using this to get stats about my ID.4 into HA, it’s not real-time, it requires giving a third party access to your car’s APIs, and there are API limits on the free tier. GitHub - tube0013/Smartcar-HA: Smartcar Integration for Home Assistant
