Wago Home Relay 2757-1110 unreliable

Just recently I have a Wago Home Relay; 2DI/2DO; 6 A; Thread (2757-1110) installed.

While the output switches work like charm, the buttons are very unreliable. I am using momentary switches and the Wago Home Relay is configured accordingly.
Sometimes the buttons work, sometimes they don’t. There seems to be no pattern.

Buttons and switches are not detached. So pressing a button should turn on the light even w/o Thread.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I have checked the wiring countless times.
I am afraid the the hardware is faulty :frowning:

How are your buttons? Cheap contacts are not necessarily able to switch tiny signal current. I have seen old momentary switches not able to turn on 1W LED light and current here is fraction of that.
Ps. I’m not familiar with your Wago though.

Buttons are solid. 16 year old Gira Series 55.

Wago is using the full 230V even for the buttons.
I’ve measured it, when using the buttons the 230V successfully reaches the Wago relay.
