Wakeword clarification

Would it be fair to say that the website regarding wakewords and custom wakeword setup are ONLY relevant if you have a esp version like the $13 thing they are trying to sell ?

I’ve just spent many many hours trying to get a custom wakeword to work on my assist which runs on a rpi 4 only to come to the conclusion that it doesnt matter how many times i put a tflite file in the share/openwakeword/ directory that wont help my pi at all and that i have to put the tflite file into /wyoming-openwakeword/wyoming_openwakeword/models and edit my wyoming satellite service file for the custom voice to take effect ?

or do i still have to do both options ? either way im still struggling to get a custom voice to respond but im curious if its just me or are the docs not clear if you are using a rpi version then things are different ?

if you just followed the instructions and got double nesting of components, then you did not change to the home directory before installing oww. this is not critical, but it will require changing the working directory.
