I currently have a homey, and a rasp2 with HA via mqtt connected to homey for visualization of the homey’s devices.
How hard would it be, to build 1 device (rasp 4, with ssd) to replace homey.
I use Kaku (433) devices, zigbee and Wave devices.
now for the zigbee and zwave devices, if I am correct, I just add a USB device ,
What would be a good zwave usb device, and a good zigbee usb device? to use with HA
But what would I need for reliable (Kaku) 433 control?? I was looking for a RFXcom-xl. But they are all not being sold anymore.
I use the Aeotec Gen 5 stick for Z-Wave and a ConBee II for ZigBee and it’s running rock solid for 3+ years. There’s also the Nortek stick that has ZigBee and Z-Wave in one stick and I heard only goos things about it here in the forum.
I use Raspbee II (which is like Conbee II, but as GPIO add-on) and it is basically working fine (using Zigbee2MQTT). But it (currently) has an annoying firmware issue rendering Link Quality Index output useless (increasing from 0 to 255 then fall to 0 again).
Already bought a CC2652RB stick, but it would require re-pairing all devices, which I am currently not in the mood for.
No experience with Z-Wave however, but for RFX there’s an integration available.
