I have 2 watchman sonic oil level devices. In rtl_344 / MQTT explorer these show up as Oil-SonicSmart and Oil-SonicStd.
The SonicStd shoudl give a depth cm (to surface of oil) and a timestamp and alarm
The SonicSmart should give depth cm, temperature and a time stamp.
However, in the MQTT intergration, only the 2 depth values are available, the other entities are listed and the entity value does not match that shown in mqtt explored or even the graphp below the entity value .
The timestamp entities are listed but show as unavialable here and I am not able to make them available either in the settings/options.
Obviously , before using the examples elsewhere on this forum on how to display this matching tank shape and size, I would like to have an accurate value of the airgap (and a history of this for graph over time) as well as a timestamp of last data so i know the sensors are working (they do not send battery levels sadly)
I do not run HA on a raspberrypi (which some examples reference) but on a HAOS on a NUC.I use SDR-RTL v4.
The timestamp suggests I am receiving data from the sonicstd but not from the SonicAdv (since initial setup).
Would anyone be willing to give me some guidance. I am very new to this; it seems I am close.
Any help would be hugely appreciated!!
