Water meter (LoRaWAN + 868Mhz) installed by my local water company

Hello there,

My local water company (CILE) installed a communicating water device lately at home.

It is a Diehl Metering SAS HRL-c-G3

According to the site, it is a LoRaWAN but also a 868Mhz communicating device (according the website of CILE).

Is there a way to integrate my water consumption in Home Assistant via this device?

My spirit is crushed… I finally got a response from the company:

“Technically, yes, but it wasn’t planned that way. We can’t provide you with the encryption key because it’s the same for all devices, and we don’t want you accessing your neighbors’ data.”

How depressing is that? What about privacy?!
