Full local control of Waterway NEO spa packs via ESPHome, using an ESP32 and an RS-485 transceiver. No cloud, no Wi-Fi module, no soldering or cutting wires.
Plugs into the WiFi expansion port or an RJ45 Y-cable, and the topside panel keeps working as normal.
Exposes a climate entity for heating, controls for lights and pumps, and sensors for water temperature and system status.
Tested on a NEO 1500 in a CalSpas hot tub. NEO 2100 should work since it shares the same topside panels, but I have not tested that. Testers wanted!
