So far I use a Fibaro wall plug, to display, whether all windows in my house are closed. i havve changed the colors in the settings. It´s green, when it is on, and red when it is off. I am using a rule: if all windows are closed, the wall plug is on. This wall plug is close to my main entrance, next to a tablet. So when I (or someon form my family ) leaves the house and the wall plug is red, we can have a look at the tablet, to see, what window is open.
The challange: I am looking for an other solution becasue I want to get away from the Fibaro products for different reasons (e.g.: I have to replace 10 smoke sensors - they look great but couse a lot of false alarm).
Any suggestions/ideas? In my set up I am using Homematic devices, I do have a Hue Bridge, and WLAN of course.

If I can assume, that you still have Z-wave running (as most Fibaro is Z-wave), you can look at Technisat. They are German and have excellent door/window sensors. Actually they are rebranded HANK sensors, are of excellent quality and use normal AA batteries instead of some rare types.
I’m running exactly, what you want with Technisat window sensors and it works fine.
I’ve also made automations to notify users when:
- Opening a window, when outside temperature is bellow 10 C, just to ask, if its necessary
- Switching the heaters off, if the temperature outside is low and the windows are open
- Reminding users of open window after a set period of time.
- Switching the heating on again, when all windows are closed.
Thanks, but I use Homeatic window sensors. And they are doing their job absolutly fine. I am looking for a something like a small smart light which I can intergrate into hass.io and let it shine red or green in dependency to the windows state.
See if the tablet have LEDs that can be used as messaging lights.
