Wondering if I could get a pointer on this as I think it is possible but not sure if I am looking in the right place.
I currently home 6 rescue rodents that need feeding every 3 days and I’m trying to look at a way to track if myself or my partner have fed them using Home Assistant and some NFC tags. What I’m looking for is the idea of a toggle switch that when a tag is scanned sets its self to on and if all 5 cages haven’t been “scanned” then it sends an alert at 9pm. What I am struggling with is getting the switch to turn off after 3 days.
Is there an easier way to do what I’m looking for using HA or is there a way to tell the switch to turn off 72 hours after the last scan.
