Wayfinder – Navigation & Journey Planning for Home Assistant
Hi everyone! 
Wayfinder is a custom Home Assistant integration that brings navigation, journey planning and location search directly into Home Assistant.
Whether you’re using Home Assistant from your dashboard, the Companion App or through Assist, Wayfinder provides routing, nearby place searches and UK rail information without ever leaving Home Assistant.
One of Wayfinder’s key features is its ability to use your current location from the Home Assistant Companion App, allowing you to ask natural questions such as:
“Navigate me to the nearest supermarket.”
“How long will it take me to get home?”
“Find the nearest EV charger.”
“Take me to Heathrow Airport.”
Wayfinder automatically uses your current location as the starting point, making navigation quick and effortless.

Example Voice Commands
Wayfinder integrates seamlessly with Home Assistant Assist, allowing natural voice interactions such as:
“Navigate to Heathrow Airport.”
“Find my nearest petrol station.”
“What’s the fastest route to London?”
“How much is the train to Bristol?”
“Find nearby coffee shops.”
“Take me home.”
These capabilities are also available through Home Assistant services, making Wayfinder ideal for automations, dashboards and custom voice assistants.

Wayfinder is currently available through HACS as a Custom Repository.
