WearOs6 complications not firing

Hi everyone, i’ve bought a couple of weeks ago a PixelWatch3 and i’m trying to set up a complication, basically i need a light toggle, 1 touch on the complication to turn the light on and 1 to turn it off.

I’ve tried to select the entity light on HA complications on watch, tried to make a template button, template toggle, button with automation and script but nothing works, apparently when I press the complication on the watch nothing happens in all those cases.

I have other complications from others apps on the same watchface (eg Whatsapp, date) and they open when I click on the complication so the cliks are “activated” on this whatchface.

Are there any setting which I’m missing or there’s no way to achieve what I’m trying to do?

Just to confirm, you’re meaning a complication on the watch face? The only HA complications I’m aware of are ‘Assist’ and ‘Entity State’, which like the name implies just shows the state (and updates when you click it).

Shortcut Tiles are how I interact with HA with my watch and I think that’s the only way you can (besides opening the app).

Yes, I mean the “main” one on the watch face. I’m using actually a shortcut tile but I was wondering if there’s some way to set it on the main screen of the watch.
