Hi, I installed Home Assistant 2025.3.3 on a Pi5 with a Geekworm 1001 ssd hat and crucial 500gig ssd. Everything worked well initially. Then I noticed that using the web interface sometimes only parts of pages would load or it would say that Mushroom cards did not exist and give me yaml code. Eventually the problems manifested in the app as well. Finally this morning it would not load at all. I reinstalled and restored from a backup and everything seemed fine but the web interface just gave me another glitch. Any idea what is going on? The Pi5 is running cool (115f) and ssd seems to work fine. I have a large power supply form a MacBook Pro on it.
Have you got any add-ons installed? Some of them use a lot of resources. Studio Code Server, for example, can gradually consume more and more memory, even if you’re not using it.
I do. Advanced SSH, Get Hacs, Matter server, piper, studio code server, whisper. Could that be creating a power draw and could it affect the drive? I am wondering if the problem is with the ssd hat on the pi and loosing connection to the ssd.
Try stopping Studio Code Server when you’re not actually using it.
Problem was simple. It was the “local only” setting in the file since I had subscribed to Nabu to support the project. Once I took local only off it worked fine.
