Webgui Fails to Load with Envisalink and 0.64

When I comment out my envisalink configurate HA loads fine otherwise the gui fails to load after the 0.64 install, prior version worked with no changes.

Here is service status with config uncommented.

Only 1 device at a time can be logged into the envisalink. Check to see that you don’t have a phone or tablet logged in through an app. The web frontend failing to load isn’t a surprise and doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a configuration issue. In my experience If you have an envisalink component in your config but HA isn’t connecting to it then it will stop HA from loading.

It’s always just after I post I figure these things out. Envisalink changed their password requirement for local access, meaning you have to change from default.

The problem comes when you restart HASS

Its only one instance connected but when restarting it seems that think its already connected and HASS does not start

I have to do a full Reboot for hass to start fine.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

How do you fix this ?

My specific issue was that I could not load the Envisalink module because Envisalink changed their password requirements. If you have a similar issue you should see it in the log than you can comment it out of your config to see if that fixes anything.

If you have the same specific Envisalink issue than you need to set a password and store that in your HA config.

What can we do with this , I can’t even restart all the time fails because it thinks Envisalink is still connected to Home Assistant Maybe a configuration to change ? In Envisalink or HASS ?

Any feedback on this ? Are you having the same problem as I Do with Envisalink ?

Thanks in advance

You need to review your log file and check why it won’t start. If it is the Envisalink go into your config.yaml file and comment it out so HA won’t try to load it. If you are having the same issue as me you will need to create a pw for Envisalink access on your network before uncommenting the Envisalink module in your HA config file.

Hi @ams123 thanks for the reply

Thats what I did , I commented out envisalink and HASS restarts without a problem
But when I try to restart when envisalink is working it gets stuck trying to restart

I changed the password but still having the same problem.

Thanks

Can you post the relevant output of log file.

Nothing to see on the log its just stops there trying to load HASS but can’t .

No errors at all until I fully reboot the computer and then it works fine.
