What can I do beside exclude and include with a failed node?

I got a failed node, but the socket where it is is annoying to open and the exclude dosn’t work like said in the manuel with using L1.

Is there anything else I can do before i have to open the socket?

you should have the option in your z wave configuration section to “remove failed node”.

I know that, but when I remove a failed node, then I have to open the socket which is extrem dense because there are two nodes in the same socket and then I have also to reset that node.

my question was if there is a option to remove the node from the “is failed” status so the controller can retry the communication, maybe I don’t need to exclude/reset it.

I think as soon as the controller can start communicating with the node then it will automatically remove the “is failed” state. I have a dead node right now that “is failed” because the light switch is off powering the z wave bulb. But when I turn the switch back on powering up the bulb it eventually reconnects and it starts working again.

Maybe try cycling power to the node to reboot it and then heal/test the network?
