What does ecobee homekit integration currently provide?

I currently use the cloud based ecobee integration. I understand that they are no longer allowing new sign-ups for this but I am grandfathered in.

I’m interested in the homekit integration because it offers completely local control but am having a hard time getting a list of exactly what this integration exposes. Some older posts suggest that the homekit integration is significantly more limited.

Same. I would like to switch to be more local.

It is possible to have both installed at the same time, so you could compare them.
