What happens in HA OS when I insert a USB stick? Are there any indications somewhere in the GUI? Will it be available to store files, like a backup? Thanks…RDK

What is your goal? You cannot just plugin usb and it work but you can define extra storage for HA to use

If the OS does enumerate the device it will be listed in Settings → System → Hardware → All Hardware.
